Transformers Revenge of the Fallen DVD Release Date

According to http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/movies.php?id=6171, there is already a dvd release date for Transformers Revenge of the Fallen on Blu-Ray. The site states that Transformers 2 will be release on October 24, 2009, which is just four months from now. The site also indicates that the title is available for pre-order from Amazon.

This release date has not yet been confirmed by the movie studio(s), Paramount and DreamWorks, who are responsible for handling the distribution of the movie.

If this release date proves to be true, it would be a similar marketing technique that the Studio used with the first movie, since they release the first Transformers movie on October 16, 2007.

There is a good chance that neither studio will confirm any release date any time too soon. Revenge of the Fallen has only been in theaters for less than two weeks, there is the chance that if Paramount confirmed the release date, some might just wait for it to be release to DVD and Blu-Ray.
