Transformers 2 Grosses $387 Million Worldwide in 5 Days

Just in: Transformers 2 grossed an unbelievable estimated $387.346 million at the worldwide box office in just five days. These numbers include $201.246 million domestically and $186.1 million foreign.

In just five days Michael Bay's Transformers sequel already ranks 229 for All Time Worldwide Box Office Grosses.

It's 3 day opening worldwide box office gross ranks eighth among all time worldwide openings.

If you were to take Transformers 2, and compare it's five day worldwide gross to the all time worldwide box office ranks, it would take the top spot.

Transformers 2 has also achieved the feat of easily becoming the best opening of 2009 and close to being the top grossing movie of 2009 at the box office, both, domestically. and worldwide.
